Fast Imagery Pro · WordPress image optimization
Smaller images.
Less work for you.
Add AVIF to your image workflow and let Pro optimize new uploads automatically. Keep the quality controls, keep your originals, and keep processing on your own server. No image credits to count.
01 / Automatic uploads · Pro
Upload it.
Get on with your day.
A new product photo, a blog post, a fresh portfolio. With Pro active, eligible new uploads enter the background queue automatically. You do not need to start a manual run each time.
Choose your formats and quality settings once. Pro uses those choices for new uploads while you keep working in WordPress. You can close the tab—the background queue keeps working.
- 1
Add your images
Upload to the WordPress Media Library as usual.
- 2
Let Pro take the next step
The background queue generates your chosen formats on your server.
- 3
Review when you need to
Check results in Recent Activity and fine-tune individual images.
02 / AVIF generation · Pro
Less to load.
Keep the final say.
Pro adds AVIF generation alongside WebP. See both versions next to your original in Pixel Tailor, compare the details, and fine-tune the quality for each image. Your originals stay untouched.
Pixel Tailor
Small files. See the details for yourself.

Compare before you decide
Move the before-and-after divider in Pixel Tailor to inspect the original and optimized image together.
Make an exception
Choose a quality preset or custom setting and re-optimize one image. Skip a format for that image if it is not the right fit.
Keep your choice
Protect an image from regeneration during bulk updates, so a library-wide change does not overwrite that decision.
03 / Keep a way back
Your originals
stay yours.
Fast Imagery creates separate WebP or AVIF files for delivery. Conversion leaves your source images in place, ready for another edit or a different quality choice.
- 1
Keep the source
The uploaded original and WordPress image sizes remain available.
- 2
Create delivery copies
Generate AVIF and WebP with Pro on a compatible server.
- 3
Check what visitors see
Use a supported delivery mode and verify the image and its fallback on your site.
Trying different settings? Clean up the generated files.
The cleanup tool previews the tracked WebP and AVIF copies before you delete them. It does not delete original uploads. Keep a backup and check delivery and caches after cleanup.
04 / Work with your hosting
Your server.
A pace you choose.
Images are processed on your WordPress server, without sending source files to an external optimization service. That also means conversion uses your hosting’s CPU and memory.
Choose Safe, Balanced, or Fast to control background load. Start cautiously on shared hosting, skip tiny files that offer little saving, and pause or resume a bulk run when you need to.
Work through the library
Start a manual bulk run for existing images, then review completed, skipped, or failed items in the dashboard. There is no image quota; your hosting capacity still matters.
Keep control of the workload
Automatic uploads do not make server resources unlimited. Choose a processing profile that fits your hosting and check the queue when adding a large set of images.
05 / Choose what you need
What you get
with Pro.
Pro adds AVIF generation and automatic future uploads to the Free plugin. Quality controls, original preservation, and cleanup remain part of both. An active license includes Pro updates and vendor support.

*AVIF generation requires a compatible server encoder. Free can deliver and clean up existing tracked AVIF files; it does not create new ones. Pro runs alongside the Free plugin.
No conversion credits to top up. If a Pro license expires, installed Pro features continue working; new Pro updates and vendor support require an active license.
Before you start
Try a few images.
Then do the library.
Start with a photo, a logo, and an image from an important page. Compare their quality in Pixel Tailor, check the live page, and keep a backup before a larger run.
Will it work with my theme and hosting?
Fast Imagery requires WordPress 6.8 or later and PHP 7.4 or later. Your server needs an encoder for the format you want to generate. Check the plugin’s server capabilities before a bulk run.
Picture Tags delivery works through supported WordPress content filters and Elementor integration. Server-based delivery depends on your server configuration. Hardcoded theme images and cached pages can need extra attention; generating a file does not prove visitors receive it.
Understand formats and check deliveryCan I keep logos and small graphics sharp?
Use graphics rules to keep matching files lossless or skip their optimization. You can identify graphics with filename keywords and choose how to handle small images. Check the result on your own logo before applying a rule across the library.
